Join us at one of the upcoming free informational sessions to learn more about the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act (RECA).
Our team will share resources available to residents across St. Louis City, St. Louis County, and St. Charles County, and help guide you through the claims process. Whether you’re a survivor, descendant, or concerned community member, we’re here to answer your questions—or help direct them to the right place if we don’t have the answer—and support you every step of the way.

Join us for a virtual informational session about the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act (RECA) program that is now available in Missouri.
Hosted by Just Moms STL, St. Louis County Library & Representatives from Senator Josh Hawley’s office will present an overview of RECA, including who may qualify and how to submit a claim form. Some time will be allotted for Q&A. Space is limited. Registration is required.
If you’re searching for documents to support your RECA claim, these sessions are a must-attend. The St. Louis County Library has launched a dedicated RECA resource page with quick-reference links and research tools to help uncover hard-to-find documentation.
Our incredible researcher, Debi Glis Disser, has curated a comprehensive set of resources on the Just Moms STL RECA website—including many from the St. Louis County Library system. The library is now going a step further by showing attendees how to use these tools effectively.
📄 Printed RECA applications will be available at all in-person sessions.
